For example, the pavilion housing the giant octopus is called “The Sunken Ship,” and a small train ride through a tunnel with glass-arched ceilings and walls, offering a view of a vast, mysterious ocean ecosystem, is named “Shark Voyage.”
In addition to fish, the aquarium has several pavilions with animals. One features tropical inhabitants like frogs, reptiles, and birds typical of the Texas region. This location is called “The Rainforest.” Among the most interesting residents are the rare red-bellied piranha, poisonous freshwater stingrays, large tarantulas, and a six-meter-long python. “The Sunken Temple” is another pavilion filled with unusual but fascinating creatures from oceans worldwide. “Maharaja’s Temple” offers an encounter with proud and fierce tigers, who feel like the true rulers of the animal kingdom. Educational Programs
In addition to the visually stunning displays, the aquarium offers various educational programs. One of the most popular is “Zoologist for a Day.” Participants get a behind-the-scenes look at the aquarium and spend a day caring for its inhabitants.
